Position Overview

Mythic Harmony Behavioral and Counseling Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality mental health and substance abuse support services at our remote detox center. In this full-time role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to deliver comprehensive assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention to a diverse range of clients, helping them to navigate their paths to recovery.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible working arrangements while supporting clients at our detox center. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, psychiatrists, and addiction specialists, fostering collaboration to ensure comprehensive care. Your remote work will be complemented by regular virtual meetings and consultations, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive bio-psychosocial assessments for clients entering the detox program, identifying mental health, substance use, and medical needs.
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and treatment modalities tailored to enhance client engagement and promote behavioral changes.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based practices and considering each client’s unique background and recovery goals.
• Perform comprehensive suicide risk assessments, utilizing clinical judgment to escalate patient needs to healthcare providers when necessary.
• Act as a liaison between clients and external community resources, providing referral services to ensure individuals have access to medication assistance programs and additional support networks.
• Work with Quality Improvement teams to gather and analyze data to optimize treatment processes and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on serving individuals across a spectrum of ages and cultural backgrounds who are experiencing challenges related to substance use and mental health. You will work with clients at varying stages of detoxification, offering them the emotional support and therapeutic interventions necessary to promote stability and encourage lasting changes in their behaviors and coping strategies.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active and relevant state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).
• Demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in crisis intervention techniques and the ability to make independent clinical judgments.
• Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions and conducting treatment planning are highly valued.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation of clinical interactions and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education. In addition, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
