Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to gather relevant information about their psychosocial needs and circumstances.
• Provide crisis intervention to clients facing immediate psychological distress, implementing strategies that promote stabilization and safety.
• Facilitate client engagement in beneficial activities that enhance their recovery process and personal growth.
• Deliver information and support to clients and their families, ensuring they are aware of available resources and services.
• Make informed referrals to other agencies and services that align with clients' needs, ensuring comprehensive support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, assessment results, and service outcomes in accordance with compliance standards.
• Participate actively in departmental training sessions and team meetings to continuously improve treatment planning and service delivery.
• Remain vigilant in recognizing signs of child abuse as part of your assessment role and take appropriate steps in consultation with supervision.

You will work with a diverse population primarily consisting of clients recovering from substance use disorders. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clinical populations, along with impact assessment and crisis management.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Competency in addressing age-related or specialty issues relevant to the diverse populations served.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing social work services in a healthcare or mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits
