Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring each session is ethical, effective, and compassionate.
• Continually assess the treatment needs of clients, implementing any necessary adjustments to their care plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans that focus on recovery solutions tailored to individual client needs.
• Facilitate the development of coping, problem-solving, and communication skills in clients to promote resilience and autonomy.
• Document treatment progress accurately and efficiently within our counselor portal, minimizing administrative burden.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve are primarily adults undergoing the detoxification process. These individuals often face unique challenges and require compassionate guidance to navigate their recovery journey effectively. By tailoring your approach to meet the needs of low-acuity clients, you will significantly impact their mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current license as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) issued by the relevant state board.
• Ability to practice independently without supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions related to your professional license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine empathetic approach to client care.
• Competence in using technology for virtual counseling sessions, inclusive of stable Wi-Fi access.

Preferred Experience

While not necessary, experience working with individuals in detox or substance abuse recovery settings will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with recovery-based frameworks and evidence-based practices is also preferred. Candidates who have previously managed caseloads in remote setups will find this role particularly suited to their skill set.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
