Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing counselors to maintain a work-life balance while also being part of an outpatient office environment. Our outpatient facility operates from Monday to Saturday, ensuring that clients receive the support they need at times that are convenient for them. The organization provides in-house credentialing and manages insurance participation, taking the administrative burden off the counselors so they can focus on their clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to understand their mental health needs, challenges, and treatment goals.

• Provide graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, maintaining clear communication with clients and the multidisciplinary team regarding assessments and interventions.
\n
• Facilitate regular patient rounds, discussing progress and adapting treatment plans based on patient feedback and interdisciplinary insights.
\n
• Handle case management for assigned patients by coordinating care with other healthcare professionals and community resources to maximize support.
\n
• Complete documentation related to assessments and treatment in a timely and ethical manner, ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes a diverse range of individuals—children, adolescents, adults, and families—seeking support for various mental health challenges. This role requires counselors to be sensitive and adaptable to the needs of each client, developing strategies that resonate with their unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is required.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting is mandatory.

• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, ranging from 10 to 40 hours (or more) per week, to accommodate client schedules.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment modalities is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with outpatient health systems and practices is a plus.
\n
• Experience in case management is beneficial, providing a holistic view of patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
