Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to understand their unique psychological needs and create tailored treatment plans.

• Design individualized therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based methodologies to effectively address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at involving parents and caregivers in the healing process, equipping them with strategies to support their child’s mental health.

• Collaborate closely with a team of child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care that encompasses all aspects of a patient’s health.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support for children and adolescents in need.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring patient safety and data integrity.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and workshops to continually enhance your skills and knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on children and adolescents struggling with diverse mental health issues, spanning from mild to severe conditions. Your work will specifically address age-appropriate developmental concerns, facilitating positive outcomes for young patients while considering the significant roles their families play in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is required.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of therapeutic practices related to children and adolescents.

• Substantial knowledge of child development, mental health disorders, and evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy tailored to young people's needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
