Private Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing our team to work from the comfort of their homes while focusing on providing compassionate care. Key Responsibilities

• Acting as a primary liaison between clients, their families, and outpatient providers to facilitate comprehensive care.
• Engaging with insurance companies for pre-certification processes and utilization management, ensuring clients receive necessary coverage and support.
• Participating actively in discharge and aftercare planning, helping clients transition smoothly from detox into recovery.
• Providing therapeutic meal support, emphasizing the importance of a healthy relationship with food as part of the recovery process.
• Delivering safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and intersecting identities, thereby fostering trust and promoting healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position lies in serving clients in a detox setting, which involves working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This population often presents with complex needs requiring a comprehensive and nuanced approach. As a social worker, you will use your expertise to address not just addiction issues but also co-occurring mental health concerns, contributing significantly to improved patient outcomes through holistic care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• Demonstrated experience working with older adults, especially in understanding their unique challenges and needs.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to assess and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, promoting positive interactions with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While a valid LCSW license and relevant educational background are required, we highly value candidates with prior experience in substance use disorder treatment settings, particularly those who have developed strong practices in therapeutic communication and client engagement strategies. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, our benefits package includes:
