Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Physical Therapist at Periscope, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams, focusing on pain relief, mobility restoration, and functional independence.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities, including diagnostic assessments and functional testing to inform treatment decisions.
• Directing and supervising the work of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring the accurate delivery of prescribed interventions and healthcare plans.
• Administering various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities for pain management and rehabilitation.
• Leading patient education initiatives, instructing clients and family members on effective treatment protocols and home exercise programs for sustained recovery.
• Maintaining detailed clinical documentation, including progress notes, evaluations, and care plans, in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring holistic and adaptive care approaches.
• Assisting in clinical decision-making by providing insights on patient status and advocating for necessary adjustments to therapy regimens.

Qualifications
