Rapha Mental and Wellness Center is actively seeking a full-time Mental Health Counselor specializing in mood disorders to join our dedicated team. Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting with the support of our outpatient office. You will primarily engage with clients through telehealth sessions, allowing you to effectively manage your schedule while maintaining a focus on delivering quality therapy. Our regular work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours as part of a rotational system, ensuring comprehensive coverage for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate client mood disorder symptoms, focusing on their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that consider their unique needs and personal goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support the client's journey toward recovery.

• Education and support are critical; you will provide information to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observational assessments and feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to your clients' care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enrich therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation regarding client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to promote continuous professional development and enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Act as a client advocate, striving to diminish the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting awareness in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with clients struggling with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure professional experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, specifically for mood disorder interventions.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling collaboration with psychiatrists to optimize treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
