Work Environment

This position will be based onsite, where the emphasis is on providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients in their homes. Our team-oriented approach allows for assistance and cooperation with other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless patient experiences. The working hours are Monday to Friday, permitting a balanced lifestyle while serving the community effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, synthesizing personal history, and physical assessments to develop effective treatment plans.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring optimal recovery trajectories.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and occupational therapists to enhance patient care and achieve shared health goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, from initial assessments through ongoing therapy sessions and discharge plans.
• Adhere to expected productivity metrics while being punctual and engaged in all organizational and community events.
• Take an active role in your professional development, engaging in continuing education and potentially serving as a clinical instructor to support student learning.
• Focus on improving patient experiences by addressing specific barriers to care and utilizing site-specific data to inform treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our healthcare center, you will work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will involve empowering patients to regain mobility, strength, and independence through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure for Physical Therapy practices in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Evidence of continuing education and professional development efforts.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy is highly advantageous, though newly graduated therapists are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with home health care practices and patient-centered care models.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 , accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
