Work Environment

The typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients by providing accurate diagnosis, effective treatment plans, and appropriate follow-up care under the guidance of supervising physicians.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care that aligns with evidence-based practices to effectively address acute and chronic health issues.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to compile health histories and perform physical examinations, observing the individual needs of each patient.
• Proactively identify disease prevention and health promotion opportunities, offering tailored education on lifestyle changes, medication management, and preventive health screenings.
• Facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions in care, empowering patients and families through shared decision-making processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve a diverse array of patients, ranging from young adults to senior citizens, all presenting unique health challenges. Your role will involve managing both acute and chronic conditions, focusing on preventative care strategies. By building lasting patient relationships, you will be instrumental in teaching patients how to maintain their health and well-being throughout their lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, accompanied by a valid license to practice as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in the state of Maryland, or eligibility for licensure.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through an approved certifying organization.
• Candidates with Acute Care certification will not be considered for this position.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in internal medicine or a related field is highly desirable, showcasing a history of working autonomously and in collaboration with medical staff.
• Diverse clinical experience that emphasizes patient engagement and education.
• Demonstrated familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
