Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, specifically tailored to address mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and collaboratively develop evidence-based treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting your approach based on ongoing client feedback and progress.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is completed promptly and accurately.
• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Exhibit professionalism and reliability by consistently meeting scheduled appointments, adhering to deadlines, and coordinating follow-up care as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with AK Therapy Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, all seeking assistance with their mental health needs. Each client will have a distinct background and set of experiences, requiring you to adapt and personalize your therapeutic approach effectively. Your insights and intervention will be pivotal in improving their emotional resilience and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid Pennsylvania license as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent).
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic capacity, focusing on providing mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and/or families.
• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that facilitate strong rapport-building with clients.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during client sessions and administrative duties.
• Compliance with background check requirements and ability to provide necessary clearances.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred, as will the ability to navigate telehealth platforms efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

At AK Therapy Services, LLC, we offer a competitive salary range between $90,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
