Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in our clients' mental health journeys. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via telehealth, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's needs.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions, drawing upon your knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses and treatment modalities, and incorporating strategies that foster a supportive environment.

• Assessing client needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and making informed and safe clinical judgments in client care.

• Utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engaging with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and managing a sizable caseload effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients facing co-occurring mental health challenges, including but not limited to trauma, substance use disorders, depression, and anxiety. By fostering a safe and validating environment, you will guide clients through their recovery journeys while promoting personal empowerment and resilience. An understanding of the 12-step recovery process is beneficial as many clients may find it applicable to their therapeutic pathways.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A valid and independent mental health license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC).

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work being preferred.
