Work Environment\n

This remote role operates within our outpatient office, enabling flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our multidisciplinary team, which includes experienced child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. You will have access to a robust technological infrastructure, including advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems, to streamline your workflow and patient documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the psychological needs and emotional challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans grounded in developmental psychology that resonate with the individual needs of each patient.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy, aimed at addressing a variety of mental health disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in fostering supportive environments.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring that immediate support is available for young individuals at risk.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, potential treatment pathways, and available community resources to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily focus on children and adolescents dealing with an array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Washington.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience delivering both individual and family therapy targeting young populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
