Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ mental health issues, utilize standardized diagnostic tools, and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, couple, and group therapy tailored to each client’s unique situations and goals, applying modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant techniques.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and strategies for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies and ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate client records, including treatment plans, session notes, and progress assessments, adhering strictly to ethical guidelines and privacy regulations.

• Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate client care and enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, treatment modalities, and available community resources, advocating for clients’ needs and rights.

• Commit to ongoing professional development through training and participation in workshops that enhance clinical skills and knowledge of emerging therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Avella, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will be to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, facilitating healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Washington State.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, demonstrated through experience in a mental health environment.

• At least two years of related experience providing mental health counseling or therapy services.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and effectively working within a team.

• Adept in using telehealth platforms and maintaining ethical standards while providing care remotely.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of direct experience is required, candidates with prior experience in a clinical setting involving telehealth services, crisis intervention, or family therapy will be strongly favored. Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes a sign-on bonus to support your transition into our organization.
