Work Environment

This position operates within an onsite home care setting, where physical therapists visit and treat patients in their homes. Our team collaborates closely to create and implement treatment plans tailored to meet individual patient needs. Flexibility in scheduling allows for adjustments to optimize patient care while maintaining a Monday through Friday workweek from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and establish baseline functional capabilities.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, recover movement, and promote healing.
• Develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans with measurable goals that are aligned with the patient's lifestyle and recovery objectives.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up sessions, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens, preventive strategies, and how to maintain progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, those suffering from chronic conditions, and patients requiring rehabilitative care post-acute incidents such as strokes or falls. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active New Jersey State Physical Therapy License.

Preferred Experience

• Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Previous experience in home health care preferred.
