Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position in Home Care

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join Bodywise Physical Therapy, LLC, in Union, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will play an essential part in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their overall physical functionality. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care that enhances patients' quality of life, focusing on their individual rehabilitation journeys.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in a home care setting, you will conduct patient evaluations and provide therapies within clients' residences, allowing for a personalized and comfortable recovery environment. Your work will typically take place Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a predictable schedule. This structure supports both our patients' needs and your work-life balance while enhancing the therapeutic relationship by treating patients in the comfort of their homes.

Key Responsibilities

In your role, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that directly impact patient outcomes:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs, goals, and limitations, tailoring intervention strategies accordingly.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities designed to optimize functional outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for rehabilitation, injury prevention, and strategies for maintaining performance.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure all interventions are proven and effective, adapting your approach based on patient feedback and progress.
• Motivate and inspire patients during their rehabilitation journey, encouraging them to engage actively in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment approach, sharing insights and progress updates to foster coordinated care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving needs and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve adult and geriatric patients, many of whom are dealing with musculoskeletal injuries or conditions that affect their mobility and quality of life. Each client presents unique challenges and goals, and your personalized approach will be instrumental in helping them regain their independence.

Qualifications

• Education: A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensing: An active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation with a solid understanding of treating common musculoskeletal conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, designing treatment plans, and executing direct patient care.
• Demonstrated skills in effective communication, with the ability to connect with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
• Ability to adapt your communication style to manage a diverse range of patients and situations successfully.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 – 130,000 per year, plus potential bonuses based on performance. Additional benefits include:
