Perpetual Help Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative telehealth team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to engage with clients remotely, conducting thorough assessments of their mental health status and collaborating with them to create personalized treatment plans. Your work will encompass a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions through video conferencing and telecommunication tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs, which may involve cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches.

• Regularly engage with clients by scheduling follow-up sessions, providing therapeutic tools, and addressing any issues that may arise during their treatment.

• Maintain clear and organized documentation of client progress and treatment modalities using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Coordinate care by providing referrals to other healthcare professionals as necessary, including psychiatrists and specialists.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals grappling with various mental health challenges. We prioritize a culturally responsive approach to therapy, recognizing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Proficient understanding of various mental health disorders and their treatment interventions.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention and an ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
