Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand each patient's unique physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and collaborating with patients to develop effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Teaching patients how to perform therapeutic exercises and demonstrating safe usage of rehabilitation equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and resistance tools.
• Applying various treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise, and functional training, to assist in pain relief and recovery.
• Tracking patient progress and maintaining accurate medical records, including therapy goals and outcomes.
• Providing education and guidance to patients and family members regarding home exercises and wellness practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will serve a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors dealing with rehabilitation issues stemming from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and general mobility challenges. Each treatment plan will be customized to address patients' specific needs and life situations, making your role crucial to their recovery journey.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively explain treatment plans and actively listen to patient concerns.
• Proficient in word processing and electronic medical record systems for maintaining thorough documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
