Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify appropriate treatment paths.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are centered on each patient's recovery goals and resilience-building.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that assist patients in processing their traumas and honing coping strategies to promote healing.

• Collaborate closely with a team of mental health professionals to deliver integrated care and coordinate services for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, especially during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping skills, and available community resources.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and high standards of care.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations, participate in team meetings, and contribute to professional development initiatives surrounding trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced severe trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will help patients navigate their recovery journeys, building trust in their therapeutic relationships while promoting resilience and healing in a supportive setting.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.
\n
• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations, showcasing resilience and adaptability.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to document and track patient progress.

• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting focused on trauma-related care is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $90,000 and $100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
