Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments with clients to understand their mental health concerns, histories, and treatment goals.

• Develop customized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique journey and therapeutic needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that address a wide range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dynamics, and life transitions.

• Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams that may include psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure clients receive holistic support.

• Engage in professional development through continuous education opportunities, ensuring adherence to the latest industry standards and mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with a diverse clientele, from adolescents to adults, who are facing various emotional challenges. This includes individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, trauma recovery, and interpersonal conflicts. Our counselor will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their unique life circumstances and develop coping strategies that lead to improved mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in the state of New York as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in counseling individuals facing emotional challenges, demonstrating your capacity to engage clients and foster therapeutic relationships.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable rapid rapport-building and effective communication with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
