Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from anywhere while maintaining flexibility in your schedule. The ideal candidate will work from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their unique needs, strengths, and treatment goals.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluation results and individual preferences, employing evidence-based interventions.

• Provide individual counseling sessions utilizing methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate meaningful change.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions to foster peer support and shared experiences among clients on similar recovery paths.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and support staff for integrated care delivery.

• Offer crisis intervention support for clients facing acute substance-related emergencies, ensuring effective and empathetic responses.

• Educate clients and their families about the nature of addiction, recovery strategies, and community resources to support lifelong recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, which contributes to seamless patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or licensed Psychologist in the state of California.

• Proven knowledge of substance use disorders and a robust understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for addiction.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy in addiction treatment contexts.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and patient confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
