Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to create your own workspace at home. You will be supported by a team that ensures minimal administrative burden, enabling you to devote your energy and focus solely on your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, allowing clients to engage in therapy comfortably from their homes.
• Encourage clients to openly discuss their emotions and experiences, fostering a safe environment for exploration and healing.
• Assist clients in setting personalized therapeutic goals and monitor their progress throughout the treatment journey.
• Identify patterns of behavior that may hinder recovery and provide tailored interventions to help clients navigate their challenges.
• Advise clients on effective coping strategies, wellness techniques, and resources available to support their mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as a remote mental health counselor will focus primarily on stable adults, specifically those who may not have utilized traditional therapy methods. All clients are thoroughly screened to ensure their suitability for online therapy, allowing you to practice within a demographic that aligns with your expertise and preferences.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Fully licensed to practice independently without supervision, holding one of the following credentials:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, along with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for therapy and counseling.

Preferred Experience
