Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining an engaging connection with our team. Utilize virtual therapy platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring a consistent and meaningful therapeutic experience for our clients. As a member of our remote practice, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other health professionals, while participating in regular virtual team meetings and continuous professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, focusing on severity, frequency, and the impact on daily functioning.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans with clients that are aligned with their specific goals, preferences, and cultural background.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the needs of clients with mood disorders.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document clients' progress during therapy sessions, proactively making adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback and outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative care by maintaining open communication with psychiatrists and medical professionals, working collectively to optimize clients’ mental health treatments.

• Stay current with research and advancements in the field of mood disorders, continually integrating new insights into therapeutic practices.

• Ensure that all client documentation adheres to legal, ethical, and organizational standards, maintaining confidentiality while working in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to advance clinical skills and knowledge in mood disorder treatments.

• Serve as a mental health advocate for clients, striving to reduce stigma surrounding mood disorders and ensuring their voices are heard in mental health discourse.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety. Our clientele reflects a rich tapestry of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, allowing you to apply culturally competent techniques in your therapy. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a preference for candidates possessing a Master's Degree or higher.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating your expertise in managing mood disorders.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, possessing knowledge in psychopharmacology.

• Exceptional communication skills with an aptitude to build rapport with a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience specifically focused on treating mood disorders.

• Proven success in implementing treatment methodologies that have resulted in measurable improvements in client outcomes.

• Experience in using telehealth platforms effectively during therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually for full-time employees, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Part-time roles can expect compensation between $63,000 and $65,000 annually.
