Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Holicare, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a caseload of clients and establishing rapport to foster positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional boundaries and ethics.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to monitor their progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and strategize discharge planning when appropriate.

• Development and implementation of comprehensive, person-centered treatment plans, ensuring that they reflect the individual needs and goals of each client.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation and progress notes that accurately reflect each client's journey and treatment response.
\n
• Conducting initial intake assessments to gauge client needs and formulate appropriate treatment pathways.

• Providing a set number of individual therapy sessions each week, ensuring consistency and reliability in client contact.

• Participating in individual supervision to cultivate professional growth and enhance therapeutic skills.

• Collaborating closely with other healthcare providers and team members to ensure holistic and integrated care solutions for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on youth, addressing a variety of mental health challenges that young individuals may face. As such, the clinician will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, and a crucial aspect of the role involves building trust and a solid therapeutic alliance. Holicare believes that all therapy should be centered on the client, tailoring interventions that resonate with the unique experiences and contexts of our youth clients.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
\n
• A current valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
\n
• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements within clinical settings.
\n
• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals dealing with substance use disorders.

• Prior experience in both assessment and diagnosis, along with individual and group therapy facilitation.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and basic keyboarding skills for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the basic qualifications, candidates with experience in evidence-based therapy modalities and youth engagement strategies are preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and a track record of successful interventions with adolescent populations will further enhance a candidate’s profile.

Compensation and Benefits\n
