This role involves delivering therapeutic interventions and mental health support to individuals, fostering their emotional and psychological growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing treatment plans in accordance with established guidelines, all while contributing to the productivity goals of the practice.

Although the role is primarily remote, you will occasionally collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals within our outpatient office in Mount Juliet. The team consists of primary care providers, nurses, and support staff dedicated to offering comprehensive care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting patient intakes to perform thorough diagnostic and functional evaluations, followed by making informed recommendations to the primary care provider regarding treatment goals and plans.

• Providing brief, solution-focused interventions for patients experiencing mental health challenges, equipping them with coping strategies and resources.
\n
• Collaborating with primary care providers to identify patients who may benefit from specialized mental health services, facilitating appropriate referrals as needed.
\n
• Monitoring patient progress, following up on treatment effectiveness, and making necessary adjustments to care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
\n
• Documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in clinical records, ensuring compliance with agency standards and confidentiality requirements.
\n
• Assisting in the development of relapse prevention strategies and promoting behavioral changes to support stable functioning and improved quality of life.

• Educating patients and their families about self-management, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintaining a cooperative and professional working relationship with colleagues, patients, and their families to ensure holistic care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will work with a diverse patient population encompassing various age groups and backgrounds, focusing on those with mental health and psychosocial issues. The counselor will address conditions ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex mental health challenges, emphasizing early intervention and consistent follow-up for at-risk patients.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.

• A valid and current LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in the state of Tennessee.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic techniques, including family therapy, group therapy, and behavioral therapy.

• Strong ability to build rapport with patients while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.

• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and preparing accurate reports as per agency policies.

• The capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 87,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to the financial compensation, Molina Healthcare provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
