Work Environment\n

This role offers flexibility through a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients via teletherapy sessions. You will use our electronic health record system, AVATAR, to document client interactions, manage treatment progress, and streamline collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Our support team is readily available to help with technical issues, allowing you to focus solely on providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews to assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, documenting each client’s journey from beginning to end.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to individual needs, whether for individuals, couples, families, or groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and constructive individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide discussions and interventions.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with fellow mental health specialists, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to enhance client care.
\n
• Maintain open lines of communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients admitted to hospitals, ensuring continuity of care.
\n
• Proactively identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder the recovery process.
\n
• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing the mental and behavioral challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, various addiction disorders, and other mental health challenges. Your work will help clients navigate complex emotional landscapes, guiding them through their struggles in a compassionate and supportive manner.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong foundation in mental health theory and practice.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to ensure accurate documentation and seamless care delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical or community setting.

• Familiarity with the best practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Experience addressing underlying physical health conditions and emotional health issues, as well as treating addiction disorders.

• In-depth knowledge regarding the effects of psychotropic medications prescribed by medical specialists.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with clients and colleagues alike.

• Natural aptitude for building relationships, demonstrating empathy and compassion to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to $100,000 annually, aligned with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, new hires are eligible for a sign-on bonus, welcoming you to our dedicated team.
