The work setting is an onsite surgical center that emphasizes a fast-paced, team-oriented fluid workflow. As a critically important member of our team, you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and reception staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising physician in providing a range of medical and general dermatology services, ensuring adherence to best practices and treatment protocols.
• Conduct thorough skin examinations, identifying dermatological conditions, and accurately diagnosing various skin disorders, from acne to skin cancer.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations and patient needs, implementing evidence-based strategies for optimal care.
• Offer patient counseling and education, addressing concerns related to skin care and treatment processes to promote understanding and adherence.
• Engage in the treatment of patients across all demographics, ensuring compassionate and competent care for children, adults, and seniors.
• Exhibit superior clinical skills and maintain compliance with surgical protocols when performing in-office procedures.
• Foster a reassuring environment with an emphasis on exceptional bedside manner, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction throughout the treatment process.
• Efficiently manage patient flow in a high-volume setting, supporting the practice’s growth while delivering high-quality care.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to streamline operations and improve patient care delivery.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations, ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with all relevant laws during patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves caring for a diverse range of patients with various dermatological needs. You will interact with individuals seeking treatment for conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, rashes, and skin cancer. Our patient-centered approach ensures that all services are tailored to each individual’s unique requirements, emphasizing not only comprehensive medical treatment but also patient education and engagement.

Qualifications

• A Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and state licensing with prescribing authority.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in dermatology.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to all applicable healthcare regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with cosmetic dermatology procedures is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
