Work Environment

As a physical therapist at our Keansburg location, you will be part of a vibrant onsite team dedicated to outpatient rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients, including the review of pertinent medical history, performance of specific assessments, and documentation of results to inform treatment plans.
• Clearly explain evaluation findings and collaborate with patients and their families to set achievable therapy goals.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols informed by the evaluation findings and adjust them in response to patient progress and evolving healthcare standards.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary, documenting any changes in patient conditions which may modify the plan of care.
• Manage appropriate discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities, including initial evaluations and progress updates.
• Maintain effective time management practices to meet productivity expectations while contributing to departmental goals and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Engage in marketing activities to enhance community outreach and patient engagement.
• Pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional growth and serve as a mentor or clinical instructor for students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, postural issues, and neurologic conditions. You will be tasked with developing tailored rehabilitation plans to meet the needs of each individual, playing a critical role in improving their quality of life. Your commitment to delivering personalized care will significantly impact patient recovery outcomes within the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid physical therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• Several years of clinical experience in physical therapy is preferred but not mandatory; newly licensed therapists are welcome to apply.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Specialized training in orthopedic or neurological rehabilitation is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and educational background.
