Key Responsibilities

• Administer mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to clients seeking stress relief, relaxation, and personal development.
• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients’ unique stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals, customizing therapeutic approaches to meet their individual needs.
• Facilitate mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques to encourage self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress reduction.
• Develop and lead group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques, creating a supportive environment for clients to share experiences.
• Integrate mindfulness approaches into one-on-one therapy sessions, addressing clients' specific mental health issues while fostering their overall growth.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Commit to personal mindfulness practice and ongoing professional development to enhance proficiency in MBSR and other relevant therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to create a calming therapeutic environment that fosters trust and connection.
• Proficient in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic practices, with the capability to adapt methodologies to meet client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Extensive training and experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) approaches are preferred, although not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to engage clients effectively in mindfulness practices and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
