Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial consultations, addressing client concerns and documenting findings meticulously.

• Assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.
\n
• Implement individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and adapting strategies to best support client progress.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey and adjust plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to enhance the holistic treatment approach.

• Actively engage in case management, following up with hospitals and other care providers for clients requiring additional support or services.
\n
• Educate families and caregivers to help them understand and manage mental health challenges within the family system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from children to adults, encompassing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a counselor, you will have an opportunity to work with diverse individuals and groups, fostering resilience and recovery through effective mental health strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• Successful passage of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previously held positions in a mental health counseling role, with an emphasis on remote or teletherapy settings.
\n
• Proficient use of electronic health record systems, ideally AVATAR, to maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
\n
• Experience in treating clients with co-occurring disorders and understanding the implications of physical health on mental wellness.
\n
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, accompanied by a sign-on bonus upon joining. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
