Key Responsibilities

Licensed Mental Health Counselors at Guided Psychotherapy Techniques Services will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand each client’s unique mental health needs and develop accurate diagnoses.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that are aligned with clients’ goals and current mental health standards.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions for adult clients, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).
• Utilize teletherapy tools to conduct virtual appointments, maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Respond to crisis situations with effective and timely intervention strategies.
• Engage in professional development by participating in training sessions, attending webinars, and keeping abreast of the latest research and techniques in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include a diverse group of adults experiencing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing empathetic, non-judgmental care to clients.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• A clean disciplinary record with the licensing board.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience working in telehealth environments and familiarity with relevant software platforms.
• Background in specialized therapeutic techniques or certifications in trauma-informed care or LGBTQ+ counseling.
• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits
