Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate effective communication between supervisors, family members, and multidisciplinary teams regarding client progress and interventions.

• Schedule appointments efficiently while coordinating home visits and follow-up sessions to monitor client advancement.
\n
• Implement and evaluate program plans to ensure they are executed effectively, aligning with clinical standards and client needs.

• Maintain thorough and timely records of all client interactions and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Take an active role in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing professional insights regarding treatment approaches and client outcomes.

• Organize training sessions for staff and team members to enhance their competencies related to documentation and treatment plans.

• Act as a liaison in the community to foster developmental support and enhance public understanding of mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a varied population that includes adults and youth facing a multitude of mental health challenges. Our clients may be referred for issues associated with family dynamics, substance misuse, trauma recovery, and general emotional support. The role requires a nuanced understanding of diverse backgrounds and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet each client's unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Proven expertise or specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment.

• Comprehensive understanding of ethical and legal standards relevant to mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum experience required is two years, candidates with additional training and certifications in specific therapeutic modalities will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n
