This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide essential mental health services via telehealth. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, leveraging telehealth technology to reach and support our patients. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and empathetic mental health assessments that evaluate the interplay between psychiatric issues and existing medical conditions.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on an integrated care model, addressing both mental health and medical requirements.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure a well-coordinated treatment approach that meets each patient's unique needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring a prompt response to urgent situations.

• Educate patients about how mental and physical health are interconnected, empowering them to take ownership of their health journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and treatment planning sessions to foster a collaborative environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily engage with individuals suffering from co-occurring mental health and medical disorders, including chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, and substance use issues. Your work will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes by providing integrated support focused on the whole person, addressing both mental health concerns and their related physical conditions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• Proficient understanding of mental health challenges in individuals with concurrent medical conditions.

• Proven experience working in integrated care settings alongside medical professionals.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients and healthcare partners.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
