Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients, identifying mental health needs and readiness for change.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Monitor client outcomes as part of an interdisciplinary team, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide support and resources to families, equipping them with the skills needed to aid in their loved one's recovery process.
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state regulations, ensuring the health and safety of clients and staff.
• Utilize natural environment teaching methods and a coaching model to effectively engage clients and families in their treatment.
• Develop rapport with clients and their families to foster a healthy and trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Implement evidence-based practices and recommend strategies based on the specific developmental needs of each child.
• Participate in continuous professional development to remain informed of the latest trends and methodologies relevant to social work in a recovery setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on children and families affected by substance use disorders and related challenges. Our programs specialize in supporting the youngest clients, including infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. You will be pivotal in helping these children acquire essential skills during their early years, thereby setting a solid foundation for their future. Your work will directly impact the families by providing emotional and practical support as they navigate the complexities of early intervention services.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work is required.
• Must hold a valid LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
• Possession of a valid driver's license to facilitate community outreach and client visits as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt your therapeutic approach to accommodate various developmental stages and individual differences.
• Strong commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices to enhance client engagement and learning.
• At least one year of professional experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Fluency in another language is preferred to better serve a diverse client population.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members, fostering collaborative effort.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in detox or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of local resources and community support systems related to substance use recovery.
• Participation in training related to trauma-informed care and family support models.

Compensation and Benefits

Foresight Psychotherapy offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
