Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs and concerns of children and adolescents, ensuring each evaluation is thorough and sensitive to developmental stages.

• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies involving our young clients, offering immediate support and resources to both children and families in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to stay current with research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is primarily focused on children and adolescents facing complex mental health challenges. You will work with a diverse population that includes individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and a variety of behavioral concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Exposure to children’s mental health is essential, with a preference for candidates possessing at least two years of post-licensure experience.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
