Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques to encourage emotional healing and personal growth.
• Engage family members in therapeutic sessions, offering them guidance and support to enhance the patient's recovery process.
• Implement and monitor specific counseling interventions that align with strategic goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care through regular case consultations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards in all clinical interactions, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by attending relevant meetings and workshops to stay current with new strategies and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients encompass a wide range of ages and backgrounds, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with these patients, building the trust and rapport necessary to facilitate meaningful healing experiences. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to community wellness initiatives that focus on reducing stigma and increasing access to mental health care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for clients and their families.
• Proficiency in documenting and maintaining accurate patient records, including treatment progress and assessments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including multicultural communities and individuals with various socioeconomic backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and well-being. Benefits include:
