Vitality Wellness Therapeutic Clinic is seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health therapist to provide expert care to individuals who have experienced trauma. In this full-time role, you will work remotely while serving clients primarily at our community health clinic in Fresno, California. The mental health therapist will operate in a remote setting that provides flexibility while remaining deeply connected to a supportive community health clinic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate individual histories and craft tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster healing.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate with peers in case consultations, ensuring a team-based approach to care and sharing insights for best practices.
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance when needed.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for ongoing support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation as per ethical and legal standards to ensure a high level of care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with developments in trauma-informed care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will primarily work with adults who exhibit signs of trauma-related disorders and require specialized interventions for their recovery. Our clients often come to us seeking support to navigate complex emotional responses stemming from various traumatic experiences. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within California.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience post-licensure, specifically in mental health counseling.
• Profound knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client care.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and effective interventions.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• Ability to thrive in high-stress situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits
