Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their mental health status, strengths, and areas for growth, utilizing standardized tools and observational methods.
• Design, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals and life circumstances while employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Provide individual therapy sessions for adult clients, utilizing evidence-based frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to encourage positive behavioral changes.
• Offer teletherapy services, ensuring seamless access for clients who may prefer virtual sessions due to geographic or personal constraints.
• Deliver crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to clients facing acute mental health challenges with empathy and expertise.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment, contributing to enhanced client outcomes and personal proficiency in specialized therapeutic methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse array of adult individuals facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges. As a Mental Health Counselor, your role will focus on building trusting relationships with clients, enabling them to explore their thoughts and emotions in a safe environment. Your expertise will not only facilitate their healing process but also empower them to achieve their holistic mental health goals.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .
• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful relationships with clients and team members.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude that supports clients throughout their mental health journey.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities for effective caseload administration and treatment documentation.
• A clean disciplinary record with your respective licensing board.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience conducting mental health assessments and managing treatment plans for diverse populations.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and technologies to effectively deliver remote services.
• Additional certification in specialized therapeutic approaches or modalities.
