The Philly Family Care Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide virtual therapeutic services to individuals seeking to improve their mental health and overall well-being. In this role, you will utilize mindfulness-based strategies, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to empower clients in managing stress, enhancing emotional regulation, and promoting personal growth.

Work Environment

This position allows for a fully remote work setting, enabling you to deliver therapy from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which aligns with our commitment to work-life harmony for our staff. While working remotely, you will leverage telehealth technologies to conduct sessions, ensuring you can consistently provide quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our center, you will:

• Utilize mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR techniques, to help clients alleviate stress and improve their emotional health.
• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand the clients' individual stressors and mental health goals, personalizing mindfulness practices accordingly.
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and breathing practices that promote enhanced self-awareness and emotional balance.
• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, fostering a supportive community among participants.
• Incorporate mindfulness strategies into individual therapy sessions tailored to address specific mental health challenges faced by clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate comprehensive treatment plans that utilize mindfulness techniques effectively.
• Maintain detail-oriented documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and evolving treatment strategies to ensure quality care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including personal mindfulness practices, to continually refine your therapeutic skills and expertise.

Our clientele at Philly Family Care Center is diverse, comprising individuals from various backgrounds who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress-related challenges. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Proficiency in integrating mindfulness strategies into therapeutic interventions and counseling techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to create a calming, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment for your clients.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Extensive training and experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
• A background in delivering group therapy or workshops focused on mindfulness and emotional regulation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
