Miracles of Life Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team in a full-time, remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments, analyzing patients' trauma histories to determine suitable treatment strategies.
• Design and execute personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, incorporating strategies for resilience and well-being.
• Implement evidence-based practices including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, encouraging a supportive environment for patients to share their experiences and learn from one another.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and stability of clients.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available for continued recovery.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including but not limited to those experiencing PTSD and complex trauma. The diverse client population may include adults, adolescents, and families navigating various mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in the fields of Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• A deep understanding of trauma-informed care principles, trauma-related disorders, and resilience-building techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, underpinned by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, ideally with a focus on trauma and PTSD treatment.
• Proven ability to implement trauma-focused therapies effectively, with experience in both individual and group settings preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in relevant computer applications.
• Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary team setting to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
