Caring Companions Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. This full-time position involves providing specialized mental health care to individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for greater flexibility and work-life balance. The work setting focuses on telehealth services, enabling you to connect with clients via secure, digital platforms. While you'll be working from home, collaboration with colleagues through virtual meetings, case consultations, and team-wide discussions will be essential to ensure integrated care for all patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and determine the most effective treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, prioritizing trauma recovery and building resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing trauma experiences, coping strategies, and fostering emotional wellness.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and additional mental health professionals to provide holistic care and support for patients.
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating compassion and expertise under pressure.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, facilitating understanding and resource navigation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in case consultations and participate in team meetings to enhance service delivery and address patient care challenges.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to serve individuals who have experienced trauma, particularly those living with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Many of our clients may also have multifaceted mental health issues, requiring specialized, trauma-informed care to aid their recovery process. Understanding and addressing the unique needs of each patient is essential for successful treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client care.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT.
• A strong capacity to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
