Work Environment

You will predominantly work remotely, which provides the flexibility to create your own comfortable workspace while remaining connected to a dedicated and multidisciplinary team of professionals. While the primary setting is virtual, you will periodically collaborate in our outpatient office, engaging in meaningful teamwork and professional development. Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Mental Health Therapist will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs, thereby formulating individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions through a range of modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, focusing on individuals, groups, and families.
• Collaborating with case managers, psychiatrists, and community resources to coordinate holistic and comprehensive care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their health are addressed.
• Providing timely crisis intervention support for clients facing acute emotional distress or emergencies, utilizing your clinical expertise to stabilize situations effectively.
• Engaging in community outreach initiatives to foster mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and promote healthy coping strategies, thereby enhancing community-level support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve vary in age, background, and mental health experiences. They may face challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. By working with individuals from diverse demographic backgrounds, you will enhance your cultural competence and sensitivity, ensuring the delivery of equitable and effective therapeutic care.

Qualifications

• Possession of an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, establishing a solid foundation for clinical practice.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships and rapport with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Demonstrated cultural competence, ensuring respectful and effective interaction with individuals from diverse communities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to maintain accurate documentation and follow established therapeutic processes.

Preferred Experience

While specific experience is not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in community mental health settings and those familiar with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience in family therapy, group therapy, or crisis intervention is highly valued.
