You will collaboratively engage with a multi-disciplinary team that includes case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, enabling you to design tailored treatment plans that resonate with individual client experiences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, delivering therapy services to individuals, groups, and families. Adapt your approach based on the specific needs of clients, utilizing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness practices.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to create a holistic treatment approach, which includes regular participation in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and care strategies.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health crises, utilizing your expertise to stabilize and guide them towards resources or ongoing treatment as needed.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting the importance of seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at DoCare Counseling Center, you will work closely with a broad spectrum of clients from diverse backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our service population encompasses individuals facing mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance abuse. Qualifications

• Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by an ability to establish rapport and foster meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Exhibit cultural awareness and sensitivity to work effectively with individuals from different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with an ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate documentation, ensuring a high standard of care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in community mental health settings or similar environments will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions efficiently.
• Previous engagement in community outreach and education efforts is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
