Work Environment\n

This position is a remote role, allowing you to connect and engage with patients from the comfort of your own space while still ensuring the warmth and support of a collaborative mental health practice. You will work alongside psychologists, psychiatrists, and various healthcare professionals to create a seamless treatment experience for our patients. Flexibility is essential; some adjustments may be necessary based on patient needs, but the structured work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and determine effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in their recovery process.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care that meets the holistic needs of each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them, fostering understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards to support quality patient care.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on trauma survivors, including individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with diverse client demographics, providing tailored support that respects and understands their unique backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, LCP, LSCSW, or LMFT in the state of Kansas is necessary.

• Understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to navigate relevant computer applications effectively.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
