This position is primarily remote, allowing counselors to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes while still engaging closely with our dedicated team of professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gauge students' psychological needs comprehensively.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on promoting emotional well-being and fostering successful integration into both educational and community settings.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions, aimed at cultivating personal growth, emotional regulation, and coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and therapists, to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergency situations, maintaining a calm and effective demeanor.

• Educate students and families regarding mental health issues, providing resources for improved understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in professional development activities, team meetings, and case conferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will primarily include students with diverse special needs, encompassing those with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral disorders. Your role will be pivotal in facilitating these students' successful navigation through their educational experiences and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficiency in diagnostic assessment and the formulation of individualized treatment plans.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with additional experience in providing mental health services to children and adolescents in educational or community environments will be prioritized. Experience with special needs populations and trauma-informed care is particularly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
