Work Environment\n

This position is predominantly remote, allowing for a flexible work setting while still aligning with our commitment to providing accessible mental health services. Our team collaborates closely, utilizing teletherapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure seamless communication and documentation. Our work hours are generally Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although there may be occasional flexibility needed based on patient scheduling requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients' trauma histories and understand their individual needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the specific therapeutic needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to aid patients in their healing process.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients develop effective coping strategies, process their trauma, and foster personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive immediate care when needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about understanding trauma responses, developing healthy coping mechanisms, and accessing available resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, while utilizing EHR systems for tracking patient progress.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative treatment efforts and share insights on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest standard of care.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse group of patients, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and others affected by various traumas. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to implement trauma-focused therapies effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations and handle challenging scenarios constructively.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and comfortable using technology as part of treatment delivery.

• Strong collaborative skills to engage effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role focused on trauma recovery is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
