Work Environment

Located in scenic Ridgefield Park, our outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology designed to facilitate effective therapy interventions. Our work environment promotes teamwork and open communication among staff, ensuring logistical support and interdisciplinary collaboration. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while you devote yourself to helping our patients recover.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, identifying functional limitations and specific areas of concern.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs that effectively address pain management, mobility impairment, and recovery needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to enhance recovery.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, optimal movement mechanics, and personalized home exercise regimens to encourage proactive participation in their own recovery.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic specialists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care for our patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately, adjusting treatment plans and methodologies based on ongoing assessments and outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by ensuring meticulous record-keeping of clinical sessions and patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse range of patient demographics, helping them overcome physical challenges and empowering them to reclaim an active lifestyle. Through personalized care and commitment, you'll play an essential role in their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, ensuring adherence to state regulations and practice standards.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting; however, we welcome new graduates with relevant clinical experience to apply.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and patient education practices.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; a patient-centered approach is essential.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous, enhancing workflow efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing and managing orthopedic conditions, alongside a history of successful patient outcomes in rehabilitation.
• Previous roles that required collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, highlighting teamwork and shared goals in patient care.
