Key Responsibilities\n

As an LPC, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the mental health and well-being of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ongoing comprehensive assessments to identify and meet the needs of patients.

• Maintaining clear communication with supervisors, direct care staff, families, and other stakeholders regarding client progress and developments.

• Providing a tentative schedule for appointments, home visits, and necessary observations to ensure effective monitoring of client progress.
\n
• Coordinating and conducting home visits for in-home assessments, including chart reviews and staff interviews, to gather vital data for analysis.
\n
• Ensuring that program plans are not only implemented but effectively tailored to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Participating in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other critical discussions to collaborate on client care strategies.
\n
• Documenting monthly and quarterly progress notes to maintain compliance and track client development.
\n
• Organizing and leading training sessions to ensure all team members are skilled in executing program plans and effectively utilizing documentation tools.
\n
• Providing follow-up care through interviews and home visits to continue supporting the ongoing needs of individuals.
\n
• Maintaining detailed and organized records for easy access to information by interested parties.
\n
• Acting as a liaison between the organization and the broader mental health community to facilitate support for developmental goals.

• Assisting in the creation of training materials to continuously improve the effectiveness of support programs for individuals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a counselor, you will cater to a diverse clientele, with the opportunity to work with various populations, including adults, children, and families. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required to ensure competency in delivering therapeutic services.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health practice.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills for establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to achieve optimal client outcomes.

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma recovery is highly preferred.

• Experience in implementing comprehensive treatment plans and providing effective counseling interventions in a variety of settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
