Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage work-life balance effectively. As part of our outpatient mental health office, you will engage in virtual sessions and be equipped with the necessary tools to ensure an effective counseling experience. While the majority of your work will be done from home, you will frequently interact with colleagues in collaborative, interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess client needs through ongoing evaluations to tailor treatment strategies effectively.

• Facilitate clear communication among supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and guardians regarding client progress and setbacks.

• Create detailed schedules for client appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor and advance treatment plans.
\n
• Coordinate and conduct home visits for observations, which may involve chart reviews and staff interviews.
\n
• Ensure that prescribed program plans are implemented correctly and are resulting in positive client outcomes.
\n
• Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing insights to improve client care.
\n
• Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly progress notes, documenting the trajectory of client progress.
\n
• Design and implement training sessions for staff regarding the program plan and documentation practices.
\n
• Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and additional observational home visits tailored to individual client needs.

• Maintain meticulous records to guarantee vital information is easily accessible for concerned parties.

• Act as a liaison with the local community and mental health networks to aid in the development of client-focused initiatives.

• Assist in establishing training materials to enhance program efficiency and client care methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults and youth from diverse backgrounds, addressing a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Your expertise and tailored approaches will have a direct impact on improving client outcomes and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor in Texas is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling role, preferably within a clinical context, is mandatory.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to the practice of counseling is crucial.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with a diverse clientele.
