Our remote work setting allows counselors the flexibility to manage their schedules while engaging with clients across various platforms. Although you will primarily work from a remote location, you will interact frequently with colleagues in virtual meetings and interdisciplinary team collaborations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough ongoing assessments to identify and address the unique needs of each patient.

• Facilitate effective communication among supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other key stakeholders regarding patient progress.

• Provide a structured schedule to supervisors for appointments, home visits, and observations ensuring the consistency of care.
\n
• Coordinate in-home visits that comply with observation requirements, chart reviews, and data analysis to gauge treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Oversee the execution of individualized program plans, ensuring they are correctly implemented and yield expected outcomes.
\n
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to collaboratively assess progress and adapt care strategies.
\n
• Document patient progress through monthly and quarterly notes to maintain accurate records for treatment assessment.
\n
• Organize training for staff to ensure competency in program implementation and necessary documentation practices.
\n
• Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and home visits to adapt to patients' evolving needs.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive records that are readily accessible to all relevant parties involved in care provision.
\n
• Act as a liaison with the public and the broader mental health community to facilitate holistic support and development initiatives.

• Support the creation of training materials to enhance programs tailored for individuals in need.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Invasive Academy, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes both adults and youth experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Your focus will include developing treatment plans that address issues such as trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics. The goal is to provide continuous support and advance the overall well-being of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a relevant field.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor licensure in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling; clinical context experience is preferred.

• Understanding of family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed practices, or substance misuse care is highly desirable.

• In-depth knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines as they pertain to mental health practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills and communication proficiency in establishing rapport with diverse clients.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum qualifications will be considered, preference will be given to candidates with specialization in specific therapeutic areas such as trauma intervention, family systems therapy, or addiction counseling. Experience in outpatient settings or crisis intervention can also be advantageous.
